Restaurants in Glanmire are limited, as is expected of a small Cork town. Still, you may be surprised by the quality on offer. The Barn is the most recognised eatery in the vicinity and is renowned for its homely atmosphere and traditional cooking. If this is not to your taste you might like to try the Vienna Woods Hotel, which is a converted mansion situated in beautiful woodland.
Glanmire may be small but it does have a good range of shops and pubs. If it all gets too quiet for your liking Cork City is only four miles away.
