Pubs specialising in pub grub or pubs with restaurant facilities dominate restaurants in Balbriggan. Balbriggan restaurants do have other eateries, though. You can choose between pizza places, harbour restaurants or more besides. The Bracken Court Hotel is a recent addition to the town and this too has restaurant facilities.
Balbriggan is located in North County Dublin. It has a good nightlife, a recently opened cinema and is not far from either Skerries or Drogheda.

Clontarf restaurants are plentiful and varied. Restaurants in Clontarf range from castle dining to pub grub, you can’t get more varied than that! In between these two extremes are an eatery in a sports themed complex (Barcode), a golf club restaurant and a couple of Chinese restaurants. There are others besides, though, so you are likely to find something, which suits your tastes.
Clontarf is a popular fishing village with such local attractions as Clontarf Castle and Bull Island.

Restaurants in Castleknock are not big in number but what they lack in quantity they more than make up for in quality. Castleknock restaurants vary from modern European to Asian. Most are situated in the main part of the village. One of the most highly recommended eateries is located on the marina, overlooking the Royal Canal. This is the Dam Square Restaurant located in Twelfth Lock hotel. It offers great food and service. No matter where you choose in Castleknock, though, you should not be disappointed.

The volume of restaurants in Swords has increased, as the town becomes ever bigger. Swords restaurants now offer a variety of price and menu which was not previously available. Reflecting the large working population in the town, they are a huge amount of cafes and casual eateries. Most Swords pubs also offer above standard pub grub both for lunch and dinner. The local hotels also offer casual or semi-casual options. For something a little more formal try some of the older restaurants which continue to offer good food at affordable prices.

Tallaght restaurants are surprisingly varied. Just some of the restaurants in Tallaght include Mexican, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Good fast food is catered for with Eddie Rocket’s and hotels, such as the Plaza Hotel, in the area also offer their own high quality dining areas. One of the most highly recommended restaurants in the area is the Olive Tree, a good all-rounder. However, with the variety of choices on offer you will not have to limit yourself.
Tallaght is a South Dublin town, situated at the foot of the Dublin Mountains. Tallaght can be easily accessed by road or Luas.

Merrion Square restaurants are as diverse as the area in which they stand. Merrion Square is an area filled with culture and diverse attractions and the restaurants in Merrion Square are equally interesting. You can choose between some of the restaurants located in the hotels of the area, the most upmarket of which is the Merrion Hotel. You might even like to dine in the National Gallery’s own restaurant which is recommended, either with or without a trip around the exhibits. Nearby Merrion Row also has a great range of restaurants and cafes to choose from.

Chapter One is renowned as one of the foremost restaurants in Dublin. Particularly popular is its pre-theatre menu. So, whatever your needs, formal or not, you should find something to fulfill them in or around this area. Parnell Square is just one minute’s walk from O’Connell Street. Attractions in the area include the Hugh Lane Gallery, the Gate Theatre and the Garden of Remembrance.

Restaurants in Christchurch are a mix of the traditional and the modern. Christchurch restaurants vary between traditional establishments, such as bars selling pub grub and more cosmopolitan café type places. The local Jury’s Inn also boasts its own restaurant. There are a good selection of eateries in the area and you are bound to find what best suits your needs.
Christchurch is famous as the location of Dublin’s historic Christchurch Cathedral. Most of Dublin’s attractions are but a short distance away. As well as the cathedral, Dublinia and the Guinness Hop Store are in the vicinity.

Restaurants in Leeson Street are a good mixture of cafes, bars and formal eateries. Leeson Street restaurants are all good examples of city centre eateries. Some of the best restaurants are located in the number of hotels located on the street. Others are stand-alone establishments, which have built good reputations. All, though, are conveniently located to the thriving nightlife for which the street is famous. The National Concert Hall is also located nearby and comes complete with its own café.

Restaurants in Gardiner Street are not particularly plentiful. Gardiner Street restaurants do tend to be limited to the eateries in the accommodation for which the area is known. Hostels, hotels and guesthouses are plentiful in the area and some do have their own restaurants. Check beforehand if non-residents can dine there. Cafes are also located in the area and provide good respite from the busyness of the city. Gardiner Street is also well located to check out other eateries in the area. O’Connell Street, the IFSC and the Docklands are all nearby.

Harcourt Street restaurants have flourished in recent years. The restaurants in Harcourt Street have benefited from the growth in the businesses located in the area. Now, too, the Luas passes through the street. Choices are varied. You can choose between an Indian, a trendy bar and restaurant or perhaps a more traditional setting. One thing is certain you will not be disappointed. If you do run out of choices try nearby Aungier Street or Camden Street.
Harcourt Street is located to the south of Dublin’s city centre. It is minutes away from both Grafton Street and St Stephen’s Green.

Restaurants in Portmarnock may not be that plentiful but that does not mean you will not find one, which suits your needs. The Portmarnock Hotel and its highly recommended restaurant, Osborne, dominate Portmarnock restaurants. However, other less formal options are available. These include the hotel’s other restaurant, Links and the Kingsford Smith Restaurant located in the area’s other hotel, White Sands. Both offer both lunch and dinner menus.

Skerries restaurants used to be dominated by one name, the Red Bank restaurant. Restaurants in Skerries, though, have now increased in number and quality to give a far greater choice for the visitor to the village. At the top end is still the Red Bank, known for its fish specialties and its often famous customers. Other choices now include Pasta Pizza, Blue as well as Chinese and Indian restaurants. The ever-popular Stoops is still a favourite for its friendly service and beautiful view over the harbour. A growing number of cafes and good pub grub are also available in Skerries.

Howth restaurants have the advantage of being located in one of Dublin’s most scenic towns.
